1. Be useful, respectful, and real
PEA Africa communities are for learning, professional growth, collaboration, and opportunity. Use your authentic identity where required, contribute relevant context, disagree with ideas rather than attacking people, and make space for learners at different levels.
2. Share responsibly
- Credit sources and share only content you have permission to use.
- Protect confidential employer, client, learner, and assessment information.
- Do not publish flags, answers, or restricted assessment material where doing so undermines learning integrity.
- Label promotional, affiliate, sponsored, AI-assisted, or recruiting content where the relationship is not obvious.
3. Keep people safe
Harassment, hate, threats, stalking, sexual exploitation, doxxing, scams, credential requests, and encouragement of real-world cyber abuse are not allowed. Use reporting tools instead of escalating publicly.
4. Moderation and appeals
Moderators may limit reach, request edits, remove content, lock threads, or restrict accounts based on context, severity, history, and risk. Where an appeal is available, explain what was misunderstood and provide relevant evidence. Repeated frivolous or abusive appeals may be closed.
